I am so late on responding to your post but better late than never, right? any who get with Farmers Home or HUD homes, I don't know what they call it in your state. Ask to apply for Low Income Family home loan or a First time buyer home loan also ask about single parent programs. I know you asked for a grant but I don't think that you're going to find one. The Low income family home loan is like a particle grant. If you get it, the US government will pay have of your monthly house payment. And they will give you time to come up with "earnest money" or "good faith" money something like $5oo, and there are no closing cost or fees with this kind of loan. Good luck on finding a grant but this is all I know of because I live in a very poor county and this is what I had to do to get my house.

can any give me some information on government grants for private elementary schools. My son has been in private school since K4 and I would like to keep him there, he is now in the 6th grade. But I can't beat another penny out of my income. Do any one know anything that might help me to get some financial assistant to pay tuition at a Christian Elementary School?
